Now you might be wondering how we ranked all these parks. Our rating system is not perfect. What is the rating system? We hope we did better than the College Football Playoff selection committee.
Additionally, we do not have wins-losses, strength of schedule, conference championships won, overall opponents, or results to evaluate.
What we have done to compile our top ten list is primarily to use our own experience. We have been to these amazing places and seen these amazing creatures. Second, we heard from others who shared their experiences with us.
Finally, we did some research to see if the published reports matched what our two eyes (or, in this case, four eyes) were telling us. We’ve taken all of this information and used it to compile our list for you.

We start with their grandfather. Yellowstone got it! It is the first national park established by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872. Yellowstone is an absolutely stunning and magical national park.
A landscape dotted with otherworldly thermal works, a barrage of bison from the time they dominated the prairie, a thriving wolf population, and an encapsulation of the great American west.
Believe it or not, Yellowstone has the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 states. It has almost seventy different species of wildlife. Among the most common are bald eagles, bighorn sheep, bison, black bears, sheep, deer, wolves, gray wolves, grizzly bears, moose, mountain lions, pronghorn, and wolves exist.

We don’t just want to share what we have with you. We’ll also share with you where you can go to see it. We want our top ten list to be a valuable resource when planning your next vacation.
In the case of Yellowstone, we recommend the following locations as the best places to view their magnificent wildlife.
We start in the Lamar Valley, which we think is the best place in Yellowstone to see wildlife. The grasslands that line this valley, created by glaciers and traversed by the Lamar River, are easily accessible on Highway 212 and attract some of the park’s largest terrestrial species—bear, bison, elk, and moose. Wolves can also be found there.
If you’re looking for antelope, bighorn sheep, bison, deer, marmot, and pronghorn, we recommend Agate Creek. It’s a fourteen-mile drive to the Tower-Roosevelt area. Another great place to see bighorn sheep is Mount Washburn. And if you plan to stay, we recommend Tower Fall Camp.

Explore the history of this amazing desert. This would be at least 11,000 years before the first nomad-gatherers began moving into the region. Conservation efforts began in the late 19th century. In 1929, Grand Teton National Park was established to protect the main peaks of the Teton Range.
Grand Teton is a great place to see wildlife. The park is located in the heart of one of the largest intact temperate ecosystems in the world. Bears, beavers, moose, whooping cranes and wolves are among the many species that inhabit this park.
One place we definitely recommend, as we’ve spent a lot of time there ourselves, is Moose-Wilson Road. It is a narrow, winding road through aspen stands, pine forests and coastal areas. If you’re looking for spectacular views of amazing wildlife, this is ‘the place to be’. These include: black bears, elk, grizzly bears, and mule deer. Did we mention muscle? You will find them there too.
Another trail we recommend while in the park is Antelope Flats. Pocket gophers and voles often like to live there. Of course, this means that predators such as coyotes, foxes, hawks and wolves can also be spotted. If you check the Grand Teton 8K, we actually got a picture of a fox with a mouse.
Best National Parks For Amazing Wildlife Viewing (photos + Tips)
If you are a bird watcher, you must visit Oxbow Bend. It is a great place to see many bird species such as bald eagles, ospreys, pelicans and trumpeter swans. You can also see beavers, muskrats, and river otters in the water. We recommend Oxbow Bend especially at sunset, because if you’re anything like us, it’s a great opportunity to take some amazing photos that you’ll always cherish.
While Lake Clark National Park might not appear on the top ten list, it certainly belongs when it comes to wildlife. There are thirty-seven species of land mammals in the Clark Lake area, including black bears, brown bears, caribou, Dall’s sheep, wolves, and wolves.
Clarke Lake National Park and Preserve offers scenic beauty (volcanoes, glaciers, wild rivers and waterfalls), fish and wildlife populations, important reservoirs for sockeye salmon, and traditional indigenous lifestyles. designed to protect The spectacular scenery of Clark Lake provides a true wilderness experience for visitors.
If you’re a bird watcher, it’s worth noting that migratory birds from all over the world come to Clark Lake in the winter. You can see migratory birds from wintering grounds all over the world. There are a variety of bird species that can be observed and protected in the park, including two of our favorites: the boreal chickadee and the gray jay. A great place to see these birds is the foothills/lakes region west of the Chig’mit Range and the Chulitna Plains adjacent to Lake Clark. These are their feeding and nesting places.
The Most Beautiful Places In Ireland
Clark Lake National Park and Preserve offers excellent bear viewing opportunities. If you plan to watch these bears, we recommend Chinitna Bay, Crescent Lake, Silver Salmon Creek, and Shelter Creek/Tuxednia Bay.

And if you want to do more than just look at the fish, Clark Lake offers great fishing opportunities. In this park you will find pristine fishing spots. Two of our favorites are arctic grayling and rainbow trout. They are one of the twenty-five species of fish found here. Crescent Lake is the park’s most popular fishing spot.
At the turn of the last century, the American National Conservation and Conservation Movement, led by Theodore Roosevelt, John Muir, and Gifford Pinchot, advocated for the conservation and protection of America’s most beautiful wilderness areas. On January 26, 1915, our national park system added another jewel to its crown.
