This year I enjoyed staying in the Sand Dunes again. We were in the “South Tower” which is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom building. The view was good. The unit was clean and very well equipped… It was almost a gourmet kitchen with all the tools, pots, pans and equipment. Both bathrooms were modern, updated and clean. Common areas such as the lobby and elevators were a bit dated, but clean, neat and freshly painted. My family will come back to this place.
We had a great stay in the two bedroom condo in the South Tower of Myrtle Beach Sand Dunes. Great amenities and very clean and modern unit.

I booked a 3 bedroom suite at the sand dunes hotel, it was nice, clean and very affordable. Actually, this is the second time I stayed in the same apartments in one year.
I have to say our stay here was great. The staff were very helpful and very respectful. The lobby was clean and so were the rooms.

We stayed at the ocean front of the Sand Dunes in mid-August with our daughter and her 2 young children. We enjoyed breakfast outside at the restaurant by the ocean and it was a short walk to the beach nearby. The grands really enjoyed the water park and I am writing because I was very impressed by one of the workers. She really watched the kids and helped protect them from piles etc. She kept them from running and controlled her court at the slides. I thanked her and asked her name… Tera, you made this grandma feel better. Thanks again for a job well done!
We stayed with family and had a pleasant week and had thought of spending the winters at this establishment when we retired.
We have been going here for four years now and my kids love it! They have a shop on site, restaurants and bars in the hotel. Very comfortable!! The water park by the hotel and the lazy river is awesome!! The beach and pools are always clean and there is always someone to ask for help if you have a problem! The rooms are also clean!
We have been going down the sand dunes for over 8 years now! My dad and uncle own a place at the resort and we also bring our friends every August! The staff are friendly, we have made friends with a few people who go at the same time every year!

The resort was wonderful, especially for the kids. Great location. Close to everything. Great restaurants on site too. An abundance of pool services.
For nearly 20 years, the men have owned a luxury 2-bedroom condo at Sand Dunes Resort/Spa, complete with water park. Our kids love it. Very easy access to the beach, ups/downs over the years with management, but all in all haven’t had a better holiday, especially with the kids counting down the days until we get back.
My review of my experience was excellent in terms of cleanliness, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, the friendliness of all the staff was excellent.
I had a very nice stay but really enjoyed the site watching and sitting on my oceanfront balcony watching the ocean at night and all in all a wonderful stay.

It was bike week, wasn’t expecting it but it turned out great, it was cool but the beaches were nice and the people were great everywhere we stopped
It was nice, but the weather was bad, so most of the activities had to be done indoors.
The ocean view from the balcony was beautiful. The room was nice. Some staff were helpful while others seemed like they didn’t really want to be there. Cleaning did not come with the supply of towels for the room. Had to call several times for towels.
It was really nice and quite. I had a fun time enjoying the amenities, but I would love to try some of the other outdoor activities. It was cold so there wasn’t much to do. Staying at the hotel was nice, but I didn’t like going to another building to eat. I also prefer the grass inside the hotel. I didn’t like coming out in the cold after a shower.

Outdated facility and no housekeeping. I’m staying here for a week and I’ve been to the front desk every day asking for cleaning. The receptionist said there was a fight going on.
I just left there today. What a horrible experience. Our baseball team went there with 5 different age groups from our baseball academy. Our group had several complaints and several people had items stolen from their rooms. I had a $500 watch stolen from a sunglasses case that was in the bottom drawer of a dresser, hidden under a pile of clothes. Our safe didn’t open and no one came to look at it, so I hid it as best I could while I went to the beach. We also had a broken lamp, a broken cupboard door and a broken coffee pot. The pull-out sofa bed had no sheets
